About Dalton
Dalton L. Rumfield, Jr., M.S., NCC, LPC
Dalton is a Licensed Professional Counselor working in
the Lehigh Valley area. His specialties include: children
and adolescent counseling, substance abuse, individual and
relationship counseling, and individual wellness coaching services.
With over fifteen years of counseling experience, Dalton
utilizes a positive, strength-focused, client directed approach.
For younger clients, child-centered play therapy is used. Also, he is interested in the interplay
between one's physical health and emotional life. In addition
to his clinical work, he provides workshops and trainings on a
variety of topics and is an Adjunct Faculty member in Graduate
Program at Chestnut Hill College. Work experiences include
conducting drug and alcohol assessments and acting as both
Clinical Director and Family Therapist for an adolescent
inpatient and an intensive outpatient treatment program. Dalton
is a National Certified Counselor and is a certified instructor
in Safe Crisis Management. He is coordinator of the Talk
Therapy Network; a group of helpers from a variety of
disciplines dedicated to the delivery of client directed outcome
informed counseling and the common factors philosophy.
